Amanda Spencer has an extensive background in commercial, retail, industrial, rural and residential real estate throughout Australia. She is the solicitor director of BridgeLegal located at Berry Street, North Sydney and within the southern suburbs of Sydney at Illawong. Amanda is an a Accredited Specialist in Property Law and has experience over the past 25 years within Property, Finance, Construction and estate planning areas of the Law.
She has vast experience advising in relation to investment property acquisition, property development, self-managed superannuation purchasing and financing, contracts and tenders, development agreements, infrastructure contracts, project finance, leasing, joint ventures, licencing, easements, property and strata/community development.
Amanda commenced her legal career at a large law firm in the Sydney CBD working her way to the position of senior associate lawyer within the property department where she worked with large organisations such as the Woolworths group, Colonial First State, Rams together with many large to medium development groups. She was also involved in large development projects within the Sydney CBD, North Sydney and Norwest Business Park in Sydney’s Western suburbs. She advised a number of leading Australian financial institutions and corporates which lead to a position within a national financial planning corporation.
During the past 9 years Amanda has worked as the solicitor director within the Financial Services sector taking that Group from a state based small financial planning organisation to a national based company having offices in each of the states of Australia. She formed part of the executive, advised the Property Panel and the Group on matters relating to self-managed super funds, property development, finance broking sector, insurance, funds management, estate planning and compliance.
Amanda now is the principal/director of Bridge Legal. The firm was established to assist the clients of referrer organisations such as Financial Planners, solicitor firms and accounting practices. Amanda’s vast understanding of the financial planning sector and investor finance lending areas has attracted small to medium Financial Planning companies seeking her assistance to act for clients to provide legal professional services in relation to estate planning, finance and property transactions for their client investors. Finance lending for investors being vastly diverse to that of an everyday conveyance her patience and experience with developers, clients and banks gets the matter settled with the minimum of delays to all parties.
Amanda acts for investor purchasers in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and South Australia which makes her services unique as clients are not forced to use different legal practises in each state they may invest in.
Amanda also practices in the areas of law that include the preparation of Binding Financial Agreements between couples, Dissolution of Marriages and Leasing.
