Nicole joined Bridge Legal in early 2020.
Nicole has a background in property and commercial law with over 20 years’ experience as a conveyancer and paralegal.
Nicole’s last 12 years have been spent in the Northern Territory in her conveyancing practice acting predominately in transactions for residential and commercial properties including marina berths, family law property settlements and deceased estate transfers. The nature of this work requires great attention to detail and an understanding of the complexities that can arise when transferring property.
Nicole has been an active member on the boards of the Northern Territory and National Australian Institutes of Conveyancers since 2010, working with the National Board through the introduction of Pexa within Australia. Nicole believes in continually updating skills to be aware of relevant changes in legislation and practises. Nicole was instrumental in the preparation and implementation of a continuing educational and professional development program for licensed conveyancers in the Top End, completion of which resulted in accreditation of Certified Practising Conveyancers. Since its implementation in 2014, Nicole has achieved and maintained CPC status.
From 2015-2020 Nicole was also a member of the Northern Territory Agent’s Licensing Board, the authority responsible for governing licensed conveyancers which included investigating allegations about licensed conveyancers and if required, holding disciplinary inquiries into conduct.
Through all this Nicole studied and completed a law degree at Charles Darwin University. Now in the final stages of her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, Nicole will be admitted to practice as a solicitor this year.
